I made many many mistakes as a new mom. Among them was my selection in diaper bag. I opted for a gender neutral bag thinking my hubby would be more comfortable carrying it. Let's be real, I carry the diaper bag 99.9% of the time so I should've splurged on a tote more my style. I also turned to blogs to find the trendiest diaper bag available. First off, everyone else had the same Skip Hop bag so good luck telling yours apart. Secondly, it falls off your shoulder every time you lean down to pick up your baby. Don't make the same mistake I did. Skip the over-the-shoulder diaper bag and opt for a backpack. You'll thank me later. Here are some of my favorite backpack's available at the click of a button.
Marc Jacobs Nylon Biker Backpack
While not technically a diaper bag, this nylon backpack is fashionable, versatile, waterproof, durable, lightweight and easy to clean. It is small enough to easily fit under the stroller but big enough to hold what you'll need for the day (including your computer).
Dimensions: 12" wide x 15" high x 7" deep

Fjallraven Kanken No. 2 Backpack
A close runner up in the traditional backpack category, the Fjallraven is a trusted Swedish company that has been making backpack's since 1960. Kånken was released in 1978 to help prevent back problems seen among Swedish school children. Kånken backpack is durable with handles and details made from leather. It offers a large main pocket, front pocket and padded sitting pad.
Dimensions: 11" wide x 15" high x 5" deep

Skip Hop Changing Station
If you opt for a traditional backpack over a diaper bag backpack, I suggest pairing it with the Skip Hop Pronto Signature Striped Changing Station, which clips onto the side of the stroller.
Buy it HERE for $17.99.
Freshly Picked Ebony Diaper Bag
I probably would have bought this if I saw it when I was comparing backpacks online. I love anything from Freshly Picked. Their designs are elegant, while being practical. It's made of premium vegan leather with luxe hardware and can be worn in all ways: cross-body for security, backpack for hands-free use, purse for easy on and off, and a top handle for grabbing quickly.
Dimensions: 13” wide x15” high x 7” deep

The Honest Company City Backpack
Great for a new mom looking for a traditional diaper bag! I bought this backpack, but opted not to use it simply because it is much larger than I needed and it would not have fit under our stroller. I am keeping it for baby No. 2 because the pockets inside the backpack keep baby essentials organized and the insulated pocket stores bottles at an optimal temperature. It also includes a changing pad with a zippered pocket for wipes and other diapering essentials. It is made from polyurethane vegan leather and wipeable PVC-free lining to ensure spills can be cleaned up easily.
Dimensions: 16” wide x 19” high x 5.5” deep

Petunia Pickle Bottom Axis Backpack
Great for the working and pumping mom looking for a traditional style diaper bag. Includes a spacious top section, insulated cooler bottom section to carry snacks, bottles or pumping supplies, an exterior insulated bottle pocket, an exterior front zippered pocket, removable, water-resistant, and washable baby changing pad, and a PPB-monogrammed wipes case.
Dimensions: 12” wide x 17” high x 6” deep
But it HERE for $109.
